Responsibilities:- All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
- Coordinate transportation activities between our main production facility, third party vendors and the Airport.
- Manage on time delivery of products, goods and services.
- Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate transportation activities and monitor all aircraft arrival/departure timings and other operational updates
- Supervise, motivate, and assist a large team of drivers and driver helpers (including schedules and documentation).
- Receive important incoming calls/information from airline clients and the airport and communicate it to respective departments.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook. Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID
- Excellent planning and coordination skills
- Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills
- Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service
- Solution seeker and effective decision maker
- Hands-on in order to make sure all flights are successfully dispatched on time
- The ability to manage quickly to overcome any deficiencies in the transportation department
- Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
- Minimum of 1 years of work experience in the similar role.
- Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
