Dispatcher

We are a family run third generation family business who has been serving the Midlands and beyond for over 50 years. We have a long-standing reputation of quality and reliability and are looking to add to an already outstanding team of employees who lead with integrity.

We are looking for part time dispatch, 3:15-8:15/9:15pm, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. This is an in-office position, and is not a remote position.

If you would like FULL TIME, then we do have Saturday and/or Sunday opportunities to make this full time, 40 hours. This position requires constant verbal communication with drivers out in the field, customers who may or may not be with their vehicles, various vendors and police agencies. No two days are the same!

Desired skills : mutli-tasking without losing attention to detail, follow-up communication skills to ensure the job was done full circle, mapping skills, staying calm while under pressure, accuracy in the fine details, efficient with job tasks, ability to prioritize tasks but yet be flexible when priorities change, and overall ownership of the job. We have a specialized towing dispatch software, so a general knowledge of computer software and ability to learn a new program is essential to the job. We operate 3 screens at once to keep up with everything. Other office related tasks might be assigned during slower times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
