Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispatcher, located in Romulus, MI. The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and dispatching drivers for efficient deliveries and pickups. The role includes monitoring transportation schedules, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that safety regulations and company policies are followed. The Dispatcher will also work closely with team members and drivers to resolve any issues that arise, ensuring timely operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with drivers, customers, and team members
• Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations, including route planning and scheduling
• Experience with dispatch or transportation management systems is a plus
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve scheduling and operational challenges
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed
• Previous experience in a similar role or in logistics is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in transportation is beneficial
