Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, operators, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate call orders using transportation management systems.
• Monitor GPS to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure efficient transportation planning.
• Utilize transportation management systems to update data entry records accurately, including pick ups & receiving logs and fleet management information.
• Manage schedules, documentation, and calls in timelines while maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatching within a logistic, transportation or call center environment; familiarity with transportation management systems highly desirable.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GPS, dispatching programs for effective decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers, drivers, and accounts.
• Proficiency in data entry using dispatching programs and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently on multi-line phone systems.
• Knowledge of automotive, dispatching procedures, fleet management practices, and transportation planning principles.
• Ability to multi task, dispatching multiple calls to our tow trucks and service vehicles to enhance efficiency and reduce waiting time. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
