Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative (24/7 Emergency Plumbing)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dispatcher to join our team starting in May. This role is critical to our operations—you will be the first point of contact for customers and responsible for scheduling service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring smooth communication between our team and clients.

This is a full-time position offering hourly pay plus the opportunity to earn additional income through commissions based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Schedule and book service appointments efficiently
• Dispatch technicians based on urgency, location, and availability
• Communicate clearly with customers and field technicians
• Enter and manage job details in the system
• Follow up with customers when needed
• Maintain a calm and professional attitude during emergency situations

Requirements:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatch software
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous dispatching or call center experience is a plus (not required)

Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling (day, evening, and/or weekend shifts may be available)
• Must be comfortable working in a 24/7 emergency service environment
