Responsibilities

• Manage dispatching activities for freight and fleet movements using transportation management systems and GPS technology
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and warehouse teams to schedule pickups and deop offs efficiently
• Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to optimize routing and transportation planning
• Maintain accurate data entry in systems such as Pingo Transportation Management, passenger tracking and documentation
• Communicate clearly with drivers and clients via multi-line phone systems, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and professional interaction
• Monitor real-time vehicle locations using GPS to adjust routes as needed for delays or issues

Requirements

• Proven customer service experience with transportation background preferred.
• Strong analysis skills to interpret GPS data, GIS mapping, and supply chain information
• Familiarity with dispatching, fleet management, and logistics processes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally
• Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and maintaining detailed records in systems l
• Knowledge of transportation planning principles and shipping & receiving procedures
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
