FULL-TIME DISPATCHER NEEDED

Our Dispatcher position performs a vital role by communicating with customers to determine their service needs. This position is primarily responsible for scheduling and notifying plumbing technicians of assignments and entering service requests into our database. We are looking for an experienced dispatcher/customer service representative to efficiently undertake a variety of administrative tasks ranging from billing, answering telephone, ordering parts, and scheduling services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is customer service.
  • Maintains the service technician schedules and dispatches as calls are completed.
  • Maintains on-call schedule for after-hours service calls.
  • Enters service calls, schedules calls, and generates call debriefing with technicians daily.
  • Apply for, track and maintain permits
  • Maintains customer database, ensuring complete, accurate, and updated entry of information
  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding company schedule and requested lead times, equipment service, and service invoicing, and general inquiries.
  • Responds to technicians requests both by online and phone.
  • Follows up and schedules preventative maintenance service appointments.
  • Reviews completed service work orders for accuracy.
  • Prepares invoices and timecards for processing.
  • Participates in all company-sponsored training classes.
  • Effectively manages conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.

  • Abiding by ALL standards of performance and code of ethics.
  • Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, including filing, sorting, and answering phones.
  • Basic computer skills to include the following: Microsoft excel and word.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours

Additional skills that will be considered:

  • Previous dispatching/customer service experience a plus, but not required.
  • Familiar with standard concepts of HVAC and/or Plumbing helpful.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: To Be Determined
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30AM—4PM

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
