Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative

Overview

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative/Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher who can reliably commute to our Sarasota, Florida office and work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Your job duties will initially include answering a busy multi-line phone system, scheduling service calls, filing, and typing proposals. Once you've mastered those tasks, you'll be cross-trained to dispatch service calls and other duties.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer phone calls.
  • Book service calls, ensuring that all names, phone numbers, addresses, and the nature of the customers’ plumbing issues are recorded correctly.
  • Immediately write up calls according to instructions.
  • Dispatch calls according to instructions.
  • Prepare the board for the following day.
  • Type proposals, pull permits, take credit card payments, and other similar tasks.
  • Support the team with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle complaints professionally and provide effective solutions.
  • Basic data entry skills are required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
