Dispatcher/Customer Service

Full Job Description

Position requires good written and verbal communication skills as well as dependability. The ability to handle a fast paced office with a high volume of intense customer interaction as well as interaction with technicians. Computer skills are required as well as the ability to work in a team atmosphere. This position demands excellent customer service skills, extreme attention to detail, professional appearance and a proven track record. The chosen applicant will report to our Rifle office.

Responsibilities include:

Customer service skills

Dispatching calls to technicians as well as being able to discern when to schedule calls for in what areas

Answer phones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner

Gather accurate information from callers and maintain contact with callers when necessary to obtain in-progress information and enter in to the computer program.

Utilize critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and exercise good judgment when completing tasks in an efficient, effective, and productive manner.

Active listening skills, oral/written comprehension, and commitment to ensure professional and quality service for our customers.

Must be able to spend long periods of time on the phone as well as seated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20 to $23 per hour depending upon experience

  • Thursday and Friday or Friday and Monday 7am to 4pm
  • Possible weekends
  • Possible Holidays

Experience:

  • customer service: 3 years (Required)
  • data entry proficient (Required)
  • familiarity with Email and Microsoft Office (Preferred)
  • answering multiple phone lines (Preferred)
  • dispatching (Highly Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries from a multi line phone system
  • Contact customers to schedule jobs that are received through email
  • Respond to emails from customers with questions or concerns
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
  • Record all customer information within our customer service database software in a timely manner
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns while staying calm
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Assign and dispatch jobs to technicians
  • Assist technicians with getting special equipment and information needed
  • Other duties as requested
