Distribution Center Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Operations Specialist to join our team! This role is designed to strengthen our operations by bringing full knowledge and hands-on execution across all key areas of the warehouse, ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient daily performance.

The Operations Specialist will play a vital role in proactively identifying and resolving issues, maintaining accuracy within our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and supporting overall process improvements across inbound, outbound, and inventory functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support all core operational functions, including:
• Inbound: receiving, putaway, and ensuring product accuracy.
• Pick-Pack-Ship: fulfilling customer orders efficiently and with high accuracy.
• Keying: maintaining accurate data entry and system updates within the WMS.
• LTL (Less-Than-Truckload): coordinating shipments and ensuring proper documentation.
• Inventory Control (IC): performing cycle counts, reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies.
• WMS Processes: maintaining integrity of the one-bin-one-location process and troubleshooting issues.
• Monitor workflow and proactively identify process bottlenecks or errors.
• Collaborate with leads and supervisors to ensure daily goals and productivity standards are met.
• Train and cross-train team members across multiple operational areas to support business continuity.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations required.
• Strong understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory processes.
• Experience with inbound/outbound, LTL, and inventory control preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
