Job Purpose
The Distribution Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to elevate distribution operations, ensuring optimal market hygiene, efficient Route-to-Market (RTM) execution, and enhanced distributor performance. This role will play a pivotal part in aligning distribution frameworks with business objectives, improving market penetration, and maximizing operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making and innovative processes.
Job Responsibilities

Design and implement national RTM frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market conditions.

Conduct RTM health assessments, identifying gaps and developing action plans for continuous improvement.

Drive the digitization of Sales Return processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy through technology-driven solutions.

Oversee the development of tools and reporting systems to provide clear visibility of RTM and distribution performance.

Establish and enforce FEFO/FIFO protocols across the entire distribution network, ensuring stock freshness.

Develop and oversee national stock liquidation strategies, collaborating with regional leadership (RSMs, CCPMs, RKAMs) to manage slow-moving inventory.

Set annual Market Freshness Score targets and ensure distributor payouts are aligned with freshness performance metrics.

Lead distributor ROI optimization initiatives, ensuring financial sustainability through data-driven profitability models.

Enforce adherence to the Sales Return Policy, including compliance with destruction SOPs to maintain operational standards.

Strengthen communication frameworks between RTM strategies and distributor networks, ensuring consistent execution across regions.

Optimize field force coverage and route planning, maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing costs.

Collaborate with the Perfect Store Department to ensure high execution standards at distribution points.

Monitor and support the deployment of performance- and retention-based compensation structures for field teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of experience
