DM APPROVED CIVIL ENGINEER G+1 - Steel Construction Contracting

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, water supply systems, and other civil works. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and approve project designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for civil engineering projects.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Perform structural analysis and material testing as required.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Resolve design and construction issues that arise during projects.
• Use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar tools for design and analysis.
