• Provide initial assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients in emergency, ICU, and wards.
• Monitor in-patients, document clinical progress, and update senior consultants regularly.
• Handle medical and surgical emergencies and initiate appropriate management until specialist intervention.
• Attend patient rounds, review investigation reports, and implement treatment plans as per consultant instructions.
• Ensure accurate documentation of case notes, discharge summaries, and clinical records as per NABH standards.
• Respond promptly to medical calls, codes (Code Blue, Code Red, etc.), and critical situations.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff in patient care.
• Coordinate with diagnostic services (lab, radiology) to facilitate timely investigations.
• Maintain effective communication with patients’ relatives, providing updates with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety protocols.
