PURPOSE:
Responsible for the real-time monitoring, coordination, data analysis, and reporting of drainage infrastructure performance using SCADA systems. Acts as the primary technical liaison between operations, maintenance, and control center teams, driving the efficient use of SCADA tools and operational analytics.
ROLES & RESPOSIBILITIES :
- Maintain a deep technical understanding of the full drainage infrastructure, including networks, pump stations, and sewage treatment plants.
- Treated Water System (networks and pump stations).
- Surface and Ground Water System (networks, pump stations, and treatment plants).
- Serve as the main point of contact within DNMC for coordinating all operational and maintenance team activities related to real-time control and data.
- Analyze daily operational data and maintenance records to ensure accuracy, detect anomalies, and support performance optimization.
- Monitor, maintain, and provide specialist technical support for SCADA applications used in drainage and wastewater operations.
- Address complex system issues by recommending and implementing technical solutions aligned with client standards and corporate security policies.
- Collaborate closely with internal/external technical teams, maintenance staff, and contractors to ensure seamless operations, issue resolution, and system improvements.
- Maintain full version control of SCADA configuration and ensure audit compliance and system integrity at all times.
- Prepare and upload the following reports and documents:
- Daily flow reports (post-OM review)
- Weekly and monthly asset failure lists for reporting meetings
- Monthly SLA, MESR, and KPI reports as per client’s guidelines
- Daily updates of major site activities and events
- Update and manage tracking systems, including
- CM (Corrective Maintenance) Tracker
- Coordination with maintenance teams for pending issues
- DNMC logs and reporting schedules
- Carry out other tasks assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
Competencies:
- Proficient in SCADA systems, HMI, PLCs, and telemetry monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for system performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- Report writing and data visualization capabilities using MS Office and data tools.
- Understanding of SLA/KPI-based performance frameworks, especially within the contracts.
Education: Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Industrial, or similar experience
Others: UPDA Certified Engineer / to obtain this year
