Document Control Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the management, organization, and maintenance of all project and quality documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures aligned with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
  • Manage electronic document management systems such as SharePoint and ERP platforms to ensure accurate storage, retrieval, and version control of documents.
  • Organize, file, and archive physical and digital documents with precision, ensuring easy access and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular audits of records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality management protocols.
  • Proofread technical documents for clarity, consistency, and correctness before approval or distribution.
  • Support data entry activities related to document tracking, reporting, and records management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate document review cycles, approvals, and updates in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in document management systems such as SharePoint or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in filing, data management, and records organization.
  • Familiarity with quality management standards including ISO 13485 (medical devices) and ISO 9001 (quality systems).
  • Experience working with ERP systems or other enterprise resource planning tools is preferred.
  • Excellent proofreading skills combined with technical writing ability for creating clear documentation.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience supporting document control or records management functions.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
