PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- For Non-GCC Citizen Applicants, the Iqama is must be transferrable (Visit and Tourist Visa is not Accepted).
- Language: Preferably proficient in both English and Arabic in written and verbal communication.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree Holder
- Work Experience: Minimum of Five (5) Years as Document Controller
JOB DESCRIPTION
1- Document Management
- Create, manage, and maintain a document control system for storing, retrieving, and updating documents.
- Organize and archive all project documentation, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain version control to track changes and revisions of documents.
2- Document Distribution
- Ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders (internal teams, clients, subcontractors).
- Maintain a distribution log to track recipients and dates of document dissemination.
3- Document Review and Verification
- Check documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established formats or standards.
- Verify that documents are approved and signed by the authorized personnel.
4- Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor document workflows, submission deadlines, and pending approvals.
- Generate status reports and logs, including documentation progress and outstanding tasks.
5- Collaboration with Teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for document-related inquiries between departments or external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper documentation alignment.
6- System and Tool Usage
- Utilize document management software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud) to maintain digital records.
7- Retention and Archiving
- Maintain a retention schedule for storing and securely archiving project records.
- Dispose of outdated or superseded documents following organizational policies.
8- Continuous Improvement
- Develop and enhance document control procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in document management.
