Document Controller

We are hiring Document Controller, URGENTLY!

Qatar Energy approved Document Controller requirements.

Maintain project documents and ensure that accurate information is distributed throughout the project, on time, to the people who need including Project Manager, Project Engineers, Clients, Designers, Surveyors, Architects, and other colleagues. Keep confidentiality of the documents based on the document's nature. Work with technical documents such as reports, equipment manuals, etc. Sort and store electronic and hard copy documents for easy retrieval. Keep a record of all incoming/outgoing documents with proper document classification, revision, issue date, document status, etc.

KEY ACTIVITIES

1. Controlling company and project documentation as assigned by the management

2. Sorting, storing, and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents

3. Following and improving document control procedures

4. Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards

5. Producing document progress reports for the Project Manager and other managers

6. Conducting regular reviews and document audits

7. Helping in the planning stages of the assigned project

8. Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion

9. Using computers to organize and distribute documents

10. Working closely with the Project site office and head office.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

IT Skills: Well-versed with MS Office Packages and experience in generating Excel databases. Typing Speed in English

Multitasking and experience in Secretarial work would be preferred.
