Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management:
- Receive, track, and monitor all project documents (drawings, specifications, RFIs, Submittals, Transmittals, permits, contracts, etc.).
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date electronic and physical filing system.
- Ensure all documents are properly named, version-controlled, and archived according to company and project standards.
Quality Control & Compliance:
- Check documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorization.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures, project requirements, and industry standards.
Software & Reporting:
- Proficiently use document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore, Asite, or similar), MS Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Document Controller, specifically within the construction, engineering, or landscape industry.
- In-depth understanding of construction documentation processes, including the submittal and RFI process.
- Proficient in using electronic document management systems (EDMS). Experience with Aconex or Procore is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
