Canine Cardio began in 2018 with a simple mission: to provide reliable, personalized care for dogs who need more than just a quick potty break. Founded by Brittany Schneller, a lifelong animal lover with experience in veterinary care, doggy daycare, and fostering, Canine Cardio grew out of a deep passion for building genuine relationships with both dogs and their people.

What started as a solo walking service has blossomed into a trusted name in the community—known for our energetic approach to pet care and our “girl-next-door” feel. Our clients trust us like family, and their dogs light up when we arrive.

Position Summary:
We’re looking for compassionate, dependable dog lovers to join our team as Dog Walkers. In this role, you’ll be the heart of our daily operations—providing midday walks, exercise, and companionship for dogs while their owners are away. Our walkers don’t just walk dogs—they build bonds, provide enrichment, and become a familiar, friendly face in the neighborhood.

What You’ll Do:

• Walk dogs individually or in small groups (no pack walking)
• Provide mental stimulation and physical exercise tailored to each dog’s needs
• Ensure safety at all times, including leash handling and awareness of surroundings
• Communicate updates, photos, and notes to clients after each visit via our app
• Monitor dogs’ behavior and well-being, reporting anything unusual to the team
• Maintain a dependable and punctual schedule

What We’re Looking For:

• Genuine love and understanding of dogs of all breeds and temperaments
• Responsible, mature, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Comfortable with all weather conditions and physical activity
• Must have a reliable vehicle and smartphone
• Prior experience with pets or dog walking is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
