Role: Dog Walker / Pet Sitter

• Secaucus, NJ (and surrounding areas in Hudson & Bergen County)
• Flexible schedule (weekday availability preferred)
• Competitive hourly pay and reliability bonuses

This is an on-site role where you’ll be responsible for safely walking dogs, supporting their behavior, and ensuring their overall well-being. You’ll also communicate with clients, follow individualized care instructions, and help reinforce structure and positive habits during walks.

What You’ll Do

• Safely walk and handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels
• Monitor behavior and support positive habits
• Follow structured care instructions for each dog
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Provide a reliable, consistent, and high-quality experience

You Are

• Punctual, responsible, and proactive
• A strong communicator
• Comfortable and confident with dogs of all sizes
• Energetic, positive, and physically active
• Respectful of clients’ homes and routines
• Passionate about animal care and behavior

Qualifications

• Experience in animal care, pet care, or dog handling preferred (not just personal or family pets)
• Understanding of dog behavior and basic training principles
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule
• Physically able to walk multiple dogs and stay active outdoors
• Pet CPR or First Aid certification is a plus (not required)
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle (public transportation is not permitted for this role)
