We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional care through walks, drop-in visits, and companionship- ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away.

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe, engaging walks for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels
• Complete drop-in visits including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and enrichment
• Follow detailed care instructions specific to each pet and household
• Administer medications when needed (training provided)
• Keep pet areas clean and tidy (food bowls, litter boxes, accident cleanup, etc.)
• Monitor pets closely and report any behavioral or health concerns
• Send thorough, professional visit reports with photos after each visit
• Deliver a consistent, reliable experience that reflects the Sweet Paws & Pads standard

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine love for animals and a strong sense of responsibility
• Prior pet care, dog walking, kennel, or veterinary experience preferred
• Ability to confidently handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong attention to detail- following instructions is critical in this role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently
• Comfortable being outdoors and active throughout the day
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Availability Expectations (Please Read Carefully)

• Availability for morning visits starting as early as 7:00 AM
• Availability for evening/bedtime visits starting as late as 8:30 PM
• Weekend availability is required
• Holiday availability is required

Sweet Paws & Pads operates 365 days a year, and our clients rely on us during the times they need care most- especially weekends and holidays. Reliability and consistency in your availability are essential to success in this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 25.0 per week
