About the Role
Rocky Mountain Pet Care is growing, and we’re looking for reliable, caring, pet-loving individuals to join our team. As a Pet Sitter and Dog Walker, you’ll visit clients’ homes to care for their pets through drop-in visits and dog walks. This is a perfect role for someone who loves animals, enjoys being active, and wants flexible, part-time work. Our Service area is from Kaysville to North Ogden, and everything in between.
What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, attentive care for pets during scheduled visits
- Walk dogs, feed pets, refresh water, and follow all client instructions
- Send visit reports and photos through our software, Time to Pet
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with clients
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes, including those who may pull
- Travel to and from client homes using your own reliable vehicle
- Work weekends and holidays as needed (our business is open 365 days a year)
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
- Must pass a background check
- Comfortable handling pets of all sizes, species and energy levels
- Able to work/walk dogs in all types of weather
- Responsible, punctual, and great with communication
- Must follow safety protocols and RMPC policies
- Must be able to commit to a changing weekly schedule based on client bookings

This is a part-time, W-2 employee position. We are open 365 days a year. Hours vary based on client needs.

- Typical Schedule Needs:
- Weekday clients: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Vacation clients: 3+ visits per day, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and major holidays
