Responsibilities

• Take dogs on engaging walks tailored to their size, breed, and energy level, ensuring proper exercise and mental stimulation
• Handle animal restraint safely during walks or care routines to ensure pet and handler safety
• Monitor pet behavior closely to identify signs of distress or health issues, communicating concerns to owners promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and ensure all equipment used during walks or care is sanitized and well-maintained
• Assist with basic training exercises such as leash manners or commands to promote good behavior

Skills

• Ability to lift heavy objects or animals as required for safe handling and transport
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and address their concerns professionally
