At Barks to Meows Pet sitting, we treat pets like family! We offer dog walking and pet sitting services in and around Conneaut Ohio. As a dog walker/pet sitter, you may also be cross-trained on social media and administrative duties.

We are looking for a part-time staff who:

• Has trustworthy and hands on experience caring for pets, with provided references.
• Is able and willing to travel.
• Has availability to work mornings, afternoons, some evenings and some holidays.
• Will commit to at least 6 months of working with us, undergo a background check, and training.
• Will treat our furry clients like they are your own!
• Is a morning person!

We are in the peace of mind business. We provide peace of mind to pet parents who are busy working or traveling.

We visit client’s homes and care for their pets and homes. This could include taking dogs for walks on the sidewalk, woods, letting dogs out in the yard to play fetch, cleaning up after pets, feeding and providing fresh water, scooping litter boxes, providing medications if needed, and of course loving them and providing lots of TLC and belly rubs! For traveling clients, watering plants and collecting mail/packages is necessary.

We ask you that you drive to these appointments, check in and check out of appointments using our mobile app, and write nice informative updates with pictures to let clients know how their pets are doing.

• Must be based within or willing to drive to the service area on a daily basis.
• Have your own reliable registered/fully insured vehicle and a valid Driver's License- you will need to travel to/from clients home and transport dogs if needed.
• Have a smart phone with photo/video/GPS capability and be able to operate one- employees use our app for scheduling, sending updates to clients, and communicating with the office/team.
• Be available for the shifts/availability you set up consistently.
• Be available year round - this position is not seasonal. Please only apply if you can commit at least 6 months of the year.
• Be comfortable walking dogs in all types of weather - rain, snow, and heat. We are a year round service and dogs still need to be taken out and exercised. We do have restrictions and safety measures for very extreme weather for dog walkers and dogs' safety.

**Must ADORE animals - we have pet care training and will get you Pet CPR and First Aid Certified.

• Be able to pass a background check - Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of a background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
