GoDoG Professional Dog Care — established in 2008 — is a soulful, dedicated dog care company serving South and Northwest Brooklyn.

We are currently hiring professional dog walkers and handlers to join our team.

While experience is preferred, it is not required. If you have the right instincts with dogs and a strong work ethic, we will teach you everything you need to know.

Compensation

Entry-Level Handler
Little to no professional pack-walking experience
Starting at $20/hr

Junior Handler
Minimum 1 year professional experience walking multiple dogs
$20–$22/hr depending on experience

Senior Handler
Minimum 2 years professional pack-walking experience
Starting at $22/hr

Typical Weekly Earnings

Most of our part-time walkers earn $400–$700+ per week, depending on their schedule and experience.

Additional opportunities for weekend walks and overnight pet sitting often increase earnings, with some weeks occasionally reaching $1,000 or more.

Requirements

• Available for at least 15 hours between 10:00am–6:00pm on weekdays
• Smartphone with a reliable data plan
• Minimum 1-year commitment
• Willing to ride a bike or scooter for the job
• Must live within or very close to our service area
• Comfortable working with breeds of all sizes and temperaments
• Comfortable walking up to four dogs at once
• Strong time-management and communication skills
• A dependable, curious, enthusiastic can-do attitude
• This role requires excellent reliability and consistency — our clients depend on us every day, rain or shine

• Are an avid bike rider or own a bike
• Have professional dog walking or training experience
• Have a dog living with you in NYC
• Have a bachelor’s degree
• Can occasionally help with weekend visits
• Have a driver’s license
