Job Overview

Elegant Qubes Decoration LLC is seeking a skilled Drafting Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our Architecture & Design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings based on specifications provided by architects and engineers. This role plays a key part in transforming design concepts into precise drawings that support construction and project execution, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

The Drafting Engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, production, and site staff to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities - Technical Drafting

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, including 2D and 3D architectural and engineering drawings
• Interpret design specifications and convert project requirements into accurate technical drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, local building codes, and project specifications
• Review, revise, and update drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation for reference and record-keeping
• Collaborate with project teams to assess design feasibility and provide technical input
• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, specifications, and presentations
• Stay updated with industry trends, drafting standards, and software advancements
• Support construction and site teams by resolving drawing-related issues and design discrepancies
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders on technical matters

Production, Supervision & Coordination

• Oversee production processes to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Supervise teams to maintain efficient workflows and coordination
• Coordinate with different departments to align project goals and timelines
• Manage project schedules and deadlines
• Liaise with vendors and clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production or design challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, 3D tools preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
