Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Drafting Specialist experienced in AutoCAD 2D and 3D to assist in creating, revising, and optimizing layout drawings for our industrial and plant design projects. The role involves translating conceptual layouts and engineering sketches into detailed technical drawings that meet both production and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for plant layouts, piping systems, equipment placements, and utility connections.
• Collaborate with engineers and design teams to review site measurements, discuss changes, and finalize drawings.
• Modify existing drawings based on technical feedback and site changes.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, accuracy, and scaling requirements.
• Maintain organized drawing files, layer conventions, and revision history.
• Provide drafting support during site visits—take measurements, verify dimensions, and update as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers to integrate design elements.
• Prepare presentation drawings and schematic diagrams as needed for client proposals.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Drafting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (industrial, mechanical, or plant design preferred).
• Strong command of AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering symbols, drawing conventions, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and process layouts.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work within deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with industrial plant layout or bottling plant design.
• Familiarity with piping systems, machinery footprints, and utility layouts.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
