Draftsman

Job Description

• Prepare and produce detailed and accurate technical drawings for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works in accordance with approved project specifications and standards.
• Translate design concepts, sketches, and engineering data into clear and coordinated shop drawings suitable for construction.
• Revise and update drawings to incorporate site modifications, consultant remarks, and approved design changes.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project quality requirements, company standards, and local authority regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings, technical documentation, and material submittals.
• Collaborate with engineers, site teams, and consultants to resolve technical and design-related issues.
• Maintain organized drawing records, document control, and revision tracking to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of drafting experience in construction or design firms (GCC experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Good understanding of construction detailing, structural layouts, and MEP coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail, precision, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drawings within specified deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Bahrain’s construction and documentation standards is an added advantage.
