Draftsman

Al Haadi Mobilya is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and layouts for furniture, joinery, and interior works. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, production teams, and site staff to convert concepts into precise shop drawings and execution-ready plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, working drawings, and layouts for furniture, cabinetry, and interior works.
• Translate design concepts, sketches, and BOQs into accurate 2D drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, production, and site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and production needs.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, dimensions, materials, and specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
• Support production by providing cutting lists and assembly details when required.
• Visit sites if needed to take measurements and verify execution details.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil/Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in furniture, joinery, or interior fit-out.
• Strong command of AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Good understanding of furniture detailing, materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience with SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar software.
• Knowledge of modular furniture and custom joinery.
• Prior experience working with manufacturing or workshop teams.
