Draftsman – Aluminum and Glass works

Education:

• Diploma in Engineering
• Sound knowledge and proficiency in Auto Cad 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, and all related computer software.

Desired Skills:

• Well versed in drafting sectional detailing and architectural drawings in Aluminium and Glazing works.
• Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
• Team player and self-motivated.
• Excellent command of English Language.

Experience:

• Minimum 02 years in G.C.C. in the same field.

Job Description:

• Prepare shop drawing and detail for Aluminium and Glass.
• Completes working drawings, design sketches, presentation drawings, shop drawings, diagrams, schedules and other computer generated or drafted documents as required by the project. Prepare fabrication drawing, cutting list layout drawings & tag elevation for guide and reference at site and production.
• Create technical drawings as per the specifications and calculations provided
• Use CAD software and modelling tools to create rough sketches as well as detailed drawings
• Calculating weight limitations and other structural dimensions and quantity estimation before beginning work
• Making changes to the technical drawings and drafts based on the feedback provided by the Engineers and Architects. Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Draftsman or Drafter in the Aluminium and Glass Service Industry Strong mathematical skills Having a keen eye for detail
