Job Description

  • Develop and manage 3D Building Information Models (BIM) for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines in accordance with project standards and BIM execution plans.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure models are fully integrated, clash-free, and aligned with approved design drawings.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed 3D models, layouts, and construction documentation suitable for fabrication and site execution.
  • Update and maintain BIM models to reflect design revisions, site changes, and consultant feedback.
  • Extract drawings, schedules, and quantities from BIM models to support project documentation and cost estimation.
  • Assist in conducting clash detection, coordination meetings, and visual presentations to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Ensure all models and drawings adhere to company BIM standards, project specifications, and local authority requirements.
  • Support the preparation of as-built BIM models and documentation for project handover.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to maintain accuracy, consistency, and version control across all project models.
  • Maintain organized digital records, templates, and libraries to enhance modeling efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in BIM modeling and coordination within the construction industry (GCC experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related BIM coordination tools.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination, 3D modeling standards, and LOD (Level of Development) requirements.
  • Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650, and model collaboration workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Bahrain’s construction documentation and modeling standards is an added advantage.
