Draftsman cum site supervisor

Job Summary

The Draftsman cum Site Supervisor is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and supervising on-site execution to ensure projects are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements
• Modify and revise drawings based on site conditions and client/engineer feedback
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and consultants for design clarifications
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications

Site Supervision Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed as per drawings
• Coordinate with contractors, labor, suppliers, and vendors on-site
• Monitor material usage and report shortages or discrepancies
• Ensure quality control, safety practices, and workmanship standards are followed
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines

Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Draftsman and/or Site Supervisor
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (and other relevant software, if applicable)
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience (can be adjusted as needed)

Work Location:

• Site-based with occasional office work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
