Job Summary

Al Mutla Trading & Contracting is looking for a skilled Draftsman / Designer to support our construction, steel fabrication, and outdoor structure projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and design layouts for steel structures, gates, carports, pergolas, UPVC, aluminum, and WPC works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings based on approved concepts and site measurements.
• Develop design layouts for steel structures, gates, carports, pergolas, outdoor rooms, and partitions.
• Coordinate with engineers, workshop, and site teams for drawing clarifications.
• Revise drawings as per site conditions, client feedback, and technical requirements.
• Prepare material cut lists and basic BOQs when required.
• Maintain proper drawing registers and version control.
• Support production and installation teams with accurate drawings.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical field.
• 3–5 years experience as a Draftsman / Designer in Qatar.
• Strong experience in AutoCAD (3D knowledge is an advantage).
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, UPVC, aluminum, and WPC works preferred.
• Ability to read site measurements and translate them into accurate drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
