Job Description- Draftsman (Multi‑Discipline) – Oil & Gas

Location: Doha, Qatar (Candidates must be locally available with valid QID & transferable Visa/NOC)
Contract Type: Full‑Time (Immediate Hiring)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Multi‑Discipline Draftsman with experience in preparing detailed drawings for mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural scopes related to oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in industry drafting standards, capable of interpreting engineering inputs, and producing accurate technical drawings to support project execution and tendering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and drafting deliverables for multi‑discipline engineering works.
• Develop mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural drawings as per project requirements and standards.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineering markups, design changes, and site conditions.
• Produce as‑built drawings incorporating verified field modifications.
• Maintain drawing records, drawing registers, and document control compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, tendering, and project departments to ensure accuracy of drafting outputs.
• Interpret project specifications, sketches, and engineering instructions.
• Support preparation of shop drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication details.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards and client specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or relevant drafting discipline.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in oil & gas, EPC, or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of Revit, MicroStation, or other drafting tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, symbols, detailing standards, and drafting best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and schematics.
• Excellent coordination skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be currently in Qatar with valid QID & transferable Visa/NOC.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.
