We are seeking a skilled and versatile Draftsman & Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team and bridge the gap between technical design and site execution.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in technical drafting and project coordination. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in 3D modeling software and BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows. This role is crucial for transforming design concepts into precise technical drawings, managing project documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between the design studio, suppliers, and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical Drafting: Create detailed 2D shop drawings, 3D models, and BIM-compliant architectural/interior layouts using industry-standard software.
• BIM Management: Develop and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy and clash detection.
• Project Coordination: Act as a central point of contact between designers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Document Control: Implement robust procedures for managing technical drawings, RFI (Request for Information) logs, and material submittals.
• Site Support: Visit sites to conduct measurements, verify as-built conditions, and ensure that execution aligns with approved drawings.
• Procurement Liaison: Assist in the selection and coordination of materials with suppliers, ensuring technical specifications meet design requirements.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed Excel log sheets for project tracking, drawing revisions, and material statuses.
• Compliance: Ensure all drawings and project documentation comply with UAE local authorities' regulations and building codes.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Draftsman, BIM Technician, or Project Coordinator within the UAE construction or decor industry.
• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit (BIM), and 3D visualization software (such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Rhino).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP, joinery details, and interior fit-out construction methods.
• BIM Proficiency: Practical experience in creating and managing BIM drawings and collaborative workflows.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Ability to create and manage complex project tracking logs and material schedules.
• Organizational Skills: High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in technical documentation.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, and internal stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

• 9 hours per day, 1 day off per week.
