Draughtsman

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in roadworks, infrastructure, and utility projects.
• Experience working on Aldar projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, road layouts, utility networks, and construction standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings for roadworks, infrastructure, and utility projects using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Develop construction drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to produce accurate and timely drawings.
• Review project specifications, design documents, and technical requirements.
• Update drawings based on site conditions and engineer comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority standards and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and preparation of technical documentation when required.
