Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, construction details, and shop drawings for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, proficiency in CAD software, and experience working within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings based on engineering and architectural designs.
• Interpret engineering and architectural plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, company standards, and local authority requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers and document revisions.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and preparation of technical documentation when required.
• Support site teams by providing accurate and timely drawing updates.
• Ensure all drawings are completed within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
