DRAUGHTSMAN (Road & Utilities)

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Middle East – Dubai Branch is hiring a Road Draughtsman for our ongoing infrastructure and road projects in Dubai.

The candidate must have experience in preparing road works drawings for infrastructure projects, preferably with Dubai RTA project experience. The role requires good knowledge of road layouts, profiles, cross sections, grading drawings, levels, utilities coordination, and as-built drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare road layout drawings, plan and profile drawings, cross sections, grading drawings, and detailed road works drawings.
• Prepare and revise shop drawings, IFC drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings as per project requirements.
• Work on road alignment, levels, EGL/FGL, kerbs, footpaths, parking areas, medians, roundabouts, junctions, and pavement-related drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers, technical engineers, surveyors, QA/QC team, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and approved revisions.
• Ensure drawings are prepared as per project specifications, authority requirements, and Dubai RTA standards.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions, and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / Civil Engineering background or relevant drafting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Road Draughtsman / Infrastructure Draughtsman.
• Experience in roads, highways, infrastructure, utilities, or RTA projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of road levels, profiles, cross sections, grading, and as-built drawings.
• Previous UAE / Dubai project experience is preferred.
• Candidates available in UAE will be given preference.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED16,500.00 per month
