Job Summary

Island Tower Electromechanical seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman with a strong background in infrastructure projects, particularly sewerage, stormwater drainage, utility networks, and road works. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate engineering drawings, layouts, plans, profiles, cross-sections, and as-built drawings in coordination with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings for infrastructure, sewerage, drainage, and utility projects using AutoCAD.
• Develop plan and profile drawings, longitudinal sections, cross-sections, and utility layouts.
• Produce shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, and project managers to incorporate design changes and updates.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client standards, and local authority requirements.
• Prepare manhole schedules, drainage network layouts, sewer profiles, and road utility drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
• Review survey data and incorporate field information into drawings.
• Support project teams during design development and construction stages.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist in preparing technical documentation when required.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in sewerage, stormwater drainage, district cooling, and utility coordination projects.
• Experience working on municipal or government infrastructure projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting mandatory).
• Experience with Civil 3D is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Sewerage networks
• Stormwater drainage systems
• District cooling works
• Utility corridors
• Manholes and chamber details
• Pipe profiles and alignments
• Ability to interpret engineering designs, survey data, and construction specifications.
