MEP Draughtsman - Landscape

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Draughtsman with a minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing irrigation, electrical, and MEP drawings for landscape developments. The role involves producing accurate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordinated MEP layouts while working closely with design, engineering, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for irrigation, electrical, and MEP works for landscape projects.
• Develop coordinated MEP layouts in accordance with approved design drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site changes and completed works.
• Review IFC drawings and produce construction/shop drawings.
• Coordinate with landscape, civil, structural, and MEP engineers to resolve design clashes.
• Revise drawings based on consultant, client, and site feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and company standards.
• Prepare detailed layouts, sections, installation details, and material schedules.
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project execution by providing timely drawing updates and technical drafting assistance.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect construction progress.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman, preferably with a landscape contracting company.
• Strong experience in preparing irrigation, electrical, and MEP shop drawings.
• Hands-on experience in landscape irrigation systems, external lighting, utilities, water features, and related MEP services.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of landscape construction methodologies and MEP coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and time management skills.
