Driver / Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)

Citizens Choice Physiocare, Inc. (CCP) is looking for Part-Time NEMT Drivers to transport clients in a safe and timely manner to their destinations. Drivers must have a safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations, while providing compassionate and friendly service. In this position, you will transport clients to their scheduled medical-related appointments and use maps and/or GPS to navigate routes. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience driving for NEMT, rideshare i.e. Uber, Lyft, public transport, etc. (Preferred)
• Pass criminal background check and drug screening
• Demonstrate safe driving practices
• Able to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPS
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines
• Excellent time management skills
• Organized and able to follow a schedule
• Focused on customer service
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit during daily routine

Responsibilities:

• Practice safe driving habits
• Follow all state and national traffic and safety regulations and standards
• Accurately follow schedules, routes, maps, rerouting, and directions
• Able to assist clients as needed (i.e. open doors, etc.)
• Keep interior/exterior of vehicle clean and presentable
• Maintain vehicle equipment, if applicable
• Complete and submit all documentation (from your electronic device) such as logs, mileage, or client/passenger reports as needed
• Adhere to company policies and procedures assigned.

What Documents Do I Need?

• Copy of valid Driver’s License
• Copy of auto insurance and registration (must be willing to use own car; company vehicle available on as needed basis in Shelby County only)
• Copy of First Aid/CPR Certification or willing to obtain
