Drivers' Supervisor

Job Summary

The Drivers’ Supervisor is responsible for overseeing fleet operations and managing drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely transportation activities. The role includes supervising driver performance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all drivers and daily fleet operations
• Plan and assign routes, schedules, and transportation tasks
• Monitor driver performance, attendance, and conduct
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards
• Conduct driver training, inductions, and performance evaluations
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and traffic violations
• Maintain records of drivers, licenses, and certifications
• Ensure proper utilization of vehicles and fuel efficiency
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for smooth workflow

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in fleet supervision or transportation management
• Valid professional driver training certification
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations and transport regulations
• Proven experience in supervising and managing drivers
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Ability to handle operational challenges and emergencies
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Construction / Oil & Gas
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management systems
• Familiarity with GPS tracking and fleet monitoring tools
