Position Highlights
A quick look at this new ABC job…
Located at: MLK and Glencoe
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with working hours as early as 7 AM - 8:30 PM. The candidate can expect to work late only once or twice a month. The family is happy to guarantee 70 hours every two weeks. The exact schedule will be given at least one month in advanced.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: June 1st

Children's Ages: Care will be for one five month old.
About the Children:
This infant is happy and healthy. He is working on getting on a consistent schedule and is on track with all of his milestones.
About the Family:
Mom works full-time outside of the home.
Dad is finishing school and will be in and out.
About the Pets:
This family has one indoor cat - all candidates must be pet friendly.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...
Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties including baby laundry, cleaning and sanitizing bottles, rotating and sanitizing toys, and light tidying.
Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
2+ years of nanny experience with infants.
Bilingual candidates will be given higher consideration
The ideal candidate has knowledge of early childhood milestones, enjoys getting outside of the house, and can be flexible.
Someone who can communicate clearly will fit in well with these parents.
Compensation And Benefits
Let’s talk dollars and cents…
Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $54,600 - $63,700 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
