Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently across various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, possess relevant driving skills, and be capable of handling related equipment and tasks associated with heavy hauling operations.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or other bulk loads to designated locations
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials in compliance with safety regulations
• Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Assist with the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading materials
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and related equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and maintenance activities
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation at all times

Skills

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record and no automatic transmission restrictions
• Experience withh dump trucks and pup trailer combination (preffered)
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in transportation
• Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
• Strong attention to safety, detail-oriented, and dependable with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently in various weather conditions and challenging environments
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and professional
