Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials such as Asphalt, gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk freight to various job sites and locations. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure efficient deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management projects with a focus on precision and safety.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials across different routes efficiently and safely
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
• Drive Dump Trucks, Low-boys, flatbeds, as needed for specialized deliveries
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical integrity
• Follow designated routes and schedules diligently while adapting to changing traffic or site conditions
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump trucks and other specialized vehicles
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery routes and load & unload procedures
• Proficiency in operating vehicles
• Experience with freight handling equipment
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving, vehicle maintenance, and cargo securement
• Ability to drive long distances across various terrains while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and following instructions accurately

Pay: $25.52 - $30.73 per hour
