Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various job sites. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, safe driving practices, and efficient handling of freight loads. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, landscaping, or waste management projects while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks with manual 18 speed or 8 speed transmission and other heavy-duty vehicles.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or truck-mounted cranes, ensuring secure handling of cargo.
• Drive routes to deliver materials accurately within designated schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of trucks, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles
• Ability to operate manual 18 speed transmission vehicles confidently and handle various truck types including refrigerated trailers and flatbeds.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
