Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Non-CDL Dump Truck / Hooklift Driver to join our growing landscaping and construction team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting equipment, materials, and supplies between our shop, vendors, and various job sites. Duties include picking up and delivering orders, hauling and operating hooklift dumpsters, and ensuring loads are secured and delivered on time. When not on the road, you’ll assist our shop manager with day-to-day operations, organization, and general support around the yard and shop.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate non-CDL dump trucks and hooklift systems
• Deliver and pick up materials, equipment, and job site supplies
• Run and manage dumpster drop-offs and pickups
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and organizing materials
• Support shop operations and work closely with the shop manager
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field
• Experience with dump trucks, trailers, or hooklift systems preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
• Basic understanding and experience with construction equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, and excavators is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Team player with a positive attitude

This is a hands-on position with a mix of driving and shop responsibilities—perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day and being part of a hardworking crew.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
