Duty Medical Officer

• Patient Assessment & Treatment: Conduct physical exams, take histories, order tests, diagnose illnesses, prescribe meds, and develop care plans.
• Emergency Response: Promptly handle medical emergencies, including providing advanced life support (Code Blue).
• Procedures: Perform routine tasks like IV insertion, catheterization, wound care, and assist in surgeries.
• Documentation: Accurately maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for all patient encounters, treatments, and progress.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Patient/Family Communication: Educate and support families on treatment, prognosis, and health maintenance.
• Shift Management: Oversee admissions, transfers, discharges, and daily ward rounds.
