About the Role

As a DWH Operational Reporting Engineer at Trendyol, you’ll be part of a team focused on continuous improvement and growth. We embrace learning from experiences and turning challenges into opportunities for development in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with various business units, primarily Legal and Finance teams, as well as Adhoc requesters, to work on reporting needs.

While supporting multiple domains, we focus on continuously improving both our technical skills and business processes. You will play a key role in automating reporting workflows, optimizing processes, and contributing to AI-driven projects. Responsibilites

- Manage end-to-end operational, financial, and ad-hoc reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Work closely with specific business teams to understand their data exploration and analysis needs
- Collect, process, analyze, and report data from both internal and external sources
- Build, maintain, and improve reports and dashboards using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting and analytical needs
- Manage and monitor data pipelines and workflows using Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Support the definition, tracking, and analysis of OKRs, providing data-driven improvement suggestions
- Identify automation opportunities across reporting and analytical processes, and proactively implement scalable solutions
- Develop data solutions in compliance with data security and regulatory requirements (e.g., KVKK/GDPR)
- Document work clearly and concisely to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing
- Conduct research and provide hands-on support for AI and ML projects

Expected Qualifications

- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably within large-scale or complex data environments
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills when working with complex data structures
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements with strong prioritization and time management skills
- Capable of independently managing the analyze-develop-test lifecycle within their area of responsibility
- Experience working with regulatory or audit-driven data requirements
- Experience with RPA or process automation tools
- Proactive, results-driven, and highly motivated to continuously learn and improve
- Experience in an e-commerce environment is a strong plus
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Tech Stack

- Solid knowledge of SQL and Data Warehousing concepts (BigQuery or similar platforms are a plus)
- Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI)
- Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
- General understanding of ETL processes
- Familiarity with agile project management tools like Gitlab and JIRA
- Ability to build automation solutions using Google Workspace tools (Connected Sheets, App Script, etc.)
- Python knowledge is a plus
- Interest in AI/ML with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
