Role Overview:
We are looking for an E-commerce Business Manager who understands how to start, grow, and scale E-Commerce businesses — from product and creative hunting, digital marketing, inventory planning, fulfilment, and customer experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who has worked closely with E-Commerce brands, marketplaces, or digital commerce platforms and understands what it takes to scale online sales.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing and optimizing the day-to-day e-commerce operations across the platform.
- Working closely with brands and sellers to identify winning products and creatives that can scale online.
- Supporting sellers in building high-performing product listings, store pages, and digital storefronts.
- Applying knowledge of platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, and other e-commerce ecosystems to improve seller performance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with marketing team to support performance marketing campaigns, digital growth initiatives, and sales promotions.
- Using data and insights to help brands improve product performance, conversion rates, and online sales growth.
- Monitoring order flow, fulfilment timelines, cancellations, and returns to ensure smooth operations.
- Working with inventory, logistics, and operations teams to ensure proper inventory planning and stock availability.
- Identifying operational gaps and improving processes related to order management, fulfilment, and seller operations.
- Ensuring a seamless customer experience from order placement to delivery, while monitoring feedback, complaints, and returns.
- Managing and mentoring a team responsible for e-commerce operations and seller success.
- Building processes, reporting frameworks, and performance tracking to support the growth of the platform.
What We’re Looking For.
- 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, digital commerce, or performance marketing.
- Experience working with local e-commerce brands, D2C brands, or agencies providing e-commerce services.
- Strong understanding of Amazon, Shopify, and marketplace ecosystems.
- Hands-on exposure to product selection, digital marketing, inventory planning, and fulfilment operations.
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities to grow online sales and improve product performance.
- Experience managing teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, E-commerce, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree (MBA) or certifications in Digital Marketing, E-commerce, or Growth Marketing will be considered an advantage.
